Summary

The Corporation for National and Community Service (AmeriCorps) has submitted a revised information collection request for the NCCC Project Sponsor Survey for OMB review. The proposed changes aim to reduce burden by eliminating questions and altering reporting requirements for financial contributions. No public comments were received during the prior notice period.

What changed

The Corporation for National and Community Service (AmeriCorps) has submitted a revised information collection request for the NCCC Project Sponsor Survey to the Office of Management and Budget (OMB) for review under the Paperwork Reduction Act. The proposed revisions include eliminating several questions to reduce respondent burden and changing one question to require an estimate of contributed funds and in-kind contributions instead of a detailed spreadsheet. The current information collection is set to expire on March 31, 2026.

Organizations that have sponsored an AmeriCorps NCCC team are the affected public. While the prior 60-day notice published on December 23, 2025, received no public comments, interested parties have until April 20, 2026, to submit comments on this current notice to www.reginfo.gov/public/do/PRAMain. The agency is particularly interested in comments evaluating the necessity, accuracy, utility, and clarity of the proposed collection, as well as suggestions for minimizing respondent burden.

What to do next

  1. Submit comments on the NCCC Project Sponsor Survey revisions by April 20, 2026.
