Daren Innie Sentenced to 15 to 30 years in State Prison on Drug and Firearm Charges
Concord, NH – Attorney General John M. Formella announces that Daren Innie, age 55, of Nashua, New Hampshire, has been sentenced by the Hillsborough County Superior Court-Southern District on one count of Armed Career Criminal, one count of Felon in Possession, and three counts of Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Distribute.
The defendant was sentenced to serve 10 to 20 years in state prison on the Armed Career Criminal charge, 3 to 6 years on the Felon in Possession charge, and 5 to 10 years on two of the Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Distribute charges. The sentences for the Felon in Possession charge and the two Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Distribute charges will be served concurrently with each other, but consecutive to the Armed Career Criminal charge. On the final Possession of a Controlled Drug with Intent to Distribute charge, the defendant was sentenced to 10 to 20 years, all of which is suspended for a period of 10 years from his release from incarceration. These sentences result in an aggregate term of 15-30 years in state prison, with an additional sentence of 10-20 years suspended for a period of 10 years from the date of his release.
The evidence in this case established that in June of 2022, the defendant possessed a revolver and a blackjack, with prior qualifying convictions prohibiting him from possessing weapons, and that he possessed quantities of cocaine, methamphetamine, and fentanyl with the intent to distribute those drugs.
