Tweet PRINT Email Monday, March 16, 2026 OKLAHOMA CITY (March 16, 2026) – Attorney General Gentner Drummond today announced a settlement with Script Care, Ltd. following a review of its pharmacy audit practices in Oklahoma.

The Attorney General’s Office reviewed 27 audits involving 24 Oklahoma pharmacies in Script Care’s network. Script Care is a Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) which manages prescription drug plan benefits for insurers. The review found that over $38,000 had been inappropriately recouped during those audits under the Pharmacy Audit Integrity Act and the Patient’s Right to Pharmacy Choice Act. After investigation and discussions between the parties, the matter has been resolved without admission of liability.

Under the agreement, Script Care will pay a total of $135,000. The Attorney General’s Office will distribute $91,969 to impacted pharmacies. Approximately $43,000 will be retained by the Attorney General’s Office to cover investigation costs, legal expenses and ongoing oversight of the agreement.

“Oklahoma pharmacies are entitled to fair and lawful audit practices,” said Drummond. “When concerns are raised, we take them seriously and act accordingly. This settlement ensures accountability while reinforcing the standards set by Oklahoma law.”
