Town of Victoria Sewage Treatment Plant Consent Order

VA DEQ is seeking public comment on a proposed Consent Order addressing violations of State Water Control Board statutes and regulations and applicable permit conditions at two sewage treatment plant facilities operated by the Town of Victoria in Lunenburg County, Virginia. The violations were identified at both the East and West Sewage Treatment Plants. This enforcement action is being processed through the DEQ Piedmont Regional Office.

Regulated entities and interested parties should submit comments by May 6, 2026. The proposed Consent Order document is available on the VA DEQ website. Parties wishing to comment should contact Cara Witte at the DEQ Piedmont Regional Office. Failure to submit comments during the comment period may result in the consent order being finalized without consideration of public input.
