The notice announces the issuance of two scientific research permits authorizing activities involving marine mammals and endangered species under the MMPA and ESA. Permit holders must comply with the statutory requirements that permits were applied for in good faith, will not disadvantage endangered species, and are consistent with ESA purposes. The permits are available for review upon written request to NMFS.Pr1Comments@noaa.gov.
Affected parties holding similar MMPA or ESA permits should maintain compliance documentation and be aware that permit-related documents are available for public review.
