JEFFERSON CITY, Mo.--- The Missouri Public Service Commission (PSC) set an intervention deadline of April 17, 2026, for cases filed by The Empire District Electric Company, doing business as Liberty (Empire), requesting an adjustment under its Fuel and Purchased Power Adjustment Clause (FAC).
On April 1, Liberty (Empire), submitted direct testimony and a revised tariff sheet proposing an updated fuel adjustment rate. The company has requested that the revised tariff sheet go into effect on June 1, 2026.
