COMMONWEALTH OF KENTUCKY BEFORE THE PUBLIC SERVICE COMMISSION In the Matter of:
O R D E R On August 16, 2024, Joy and Matthew Lee (Lees or Complainants) filed a complaint alleging that Farmdale Water District (Farmdale District) had failed to transfer water service for Complainants recently purchased property into Complainants' names for an extended period of time. In addition, Complainants alleged that Farmdale District
improperly allowed adjacent property owners to use Complainants' water line without Complainants' permission. On December 27, 2024, the Commission ordered Farmdale
District to satisfy the matters complained of or file a written answer. On January 6, 2025, Farmdale District filed a written answer. On May 16, 2025, Complainants filed a response. After reviewing the record, the Commission, on its own motion, finds that a procedural schedule should be established for the orderly processing of this case. A copy of this Order should be served on Joy and Matthew Lee by U.S. Postal Service First Class mail at 877 S. Benson Road, Frankfort, Kentucky 40601. IT IS THEREFORE ORDERED that:
The procedural schedule set forth in the Appendix to this Order shall be
followed.Farmdale District and Complainants shall respond to all requests for
information propounded by Commission Staff, whether identified on the procedural schedule or otherwise, as provided in those requests.When filing a paper with the Commission, Farmdale District shall file an
electronic copy in accordance with the electronic filing procedures set forth in 807 KAR 5:001, Section 8. Electronic documents shall be in portable document format (PDF), shall be searchable, and shall be appropriately bookmarked. The Commission directs the parties to the Commission's July 22, 2021 Order in Case No. 2020-00085 regarding 1 filings with the Commission.A copy of this Order shall be served on Joy and Matthew Lee by U.S. Postal
