What changed

Ofgem released its quarterly Feed-in Tariff Installation Report for Q1 2026, providing a statistical breakdown of accredited renewable energy installations registered on the Central FIT Register. Regional data has been updated to reflect current Government Statistic Service LSOA code formats. The report is available as three separate Excel files due to file size.

Affected parties — energy suppliers, renewable energy installers, and policy analysts tracking FIT scheme deployment — should note this is a transparency report only. No new compliance obligations, reporting requirements, or tariff rate changes are introduced.

  • This quarterly report gives a breakdown of accredited installations under the Feed-in Tariff (FIT) scheme from 1 April 2010 to 31 March 2026.

Data shown in the report is based on the number of installations that have completed accreditation in the above period only.

The report is based on the installations registered on the Central FIT Register (CFR). We have updated our Lower Level Super Output Areas (LSOA) codes to the current Government Statistic Service (GSS) system format. This means that the regional data associated with installations may differ to what we have published in previous reports.

Please note that due to file size limits this quarterly report has been split into three parts. All three parts are available in the documents section below.
