WASHINGTON – Today, the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) announced U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) lodged an arrest detainer requesting sanctuary politicians not release a Mexican criminal illegal alien, 20-year-old Angel David Rubio Marin, who was arrested by the Culpeper Police Department in Virginia and charged with soliciting sexual content from children under ten years old.

According to local reports, authorities received reports of Rubio Marin soliciting sexually explicit videos and images from at least three children under 10 years old. Rubio Marin enticed the young children by offering to pay them in “Robux,” a digital currency that can be used to play video games.

He was previously arrested by local police in Prince William County and charged with two counts of public masturbation in 2024. He was released from jail back into Virginia neighborhoods to commit more sex crimes against children.

Rubio Marin illegally entered the U.S. at an unknown place and time.

“This sicko preyed on innocent children by offering to pay them in a video game currency in exchange for child pornography,” said Acting Assistant Secretary Lauren Bis . “This illegal alien was RELEASED from jail after an arrest for public masturbation. This case is a perfect example of why we need state and local cooperation with ICE. We are calling on Virginia sanctuary politicians and Governor Abigail Spanberger to commit to not releasing this child predator back into Virgina neighborhoods. No one wants this pedophile loose on American streets.”

Governor Spanberger’s decision to end cooperation with ICE in Virginia has allowed criminals to be released back into American communities.
