Ansøgningerne til en ny runde af den regulatoriske AI-sandkasse er nu åbne. Sandkassen er et fælles initiativ fra Datatilsynet og Digitaliseringsstyrelsen, der skal understøtte udviklingen af ansvarlige og lovlige AI-løsninger i Danmark.
Sandkassen er for virksomheder, myndigheder og organisationer, der udvikler eller anvender AI, og som har brug for sparring på de regulatoriske krav.
Hvad indebærer et sandkasseforløb?
Et sandkasseforløb giver blandt andet mulighed for:
- Vejledning om GDPR og databeskyttelse
- Sparring på konsekvensanalyser (DPIA)
- Hjælp til risikovurdering og håndtering af risici
- Input til databeskyttelse by design
- Vejledning om risikoklassificering efter AI-forordningen Formålet er at gøre det lettere at udvikle og implementere AI-løsninger inden for rammerne af gældende regler – særligt i forhold til databeskyttelse og den nye AI-forordning.
Et sandkasseforløb varer typisk op til fire måneder og tilrettelægges med udgangspunkt i det enkelte projekt. Efterfølgende deles erfaringerne i en offentlig slutrapport, så andre kan få gavn af den viden, der opbygges.

Sandkassen er åben for aktører med AI-projekter. Det gælder blandt andet:
- Virksomheder, myndigheder og organisationer
- Projekter, der involverer AI og evt. behandling af personoplysninger
- Projekter, hvor der er identificeret konkrete regulatoriske udfordringer Ansøgninger vurderes bl.a. ud fra samfundsbetydning, innovationshøjde og projektets modenhed.
