What changed

The Texas Court of Appeals, 10th District, has granted the State of Texas's motion to dismiss its own appeal in the case of State of Texas v. Joshua Logan. The appeal, docketed as 10-26-00093-CR, was related to an order modifying a judgment. The dismissal was executed under Texas Rule of Appellate Procedure 42.2(a).

This action effectively ends the appellate proceedings initiated by the State. No further action is required from regulated entities as this is a specific case disposition. The disposition means the State will not pursue its challenge to the trial court's modification order, and the trial court's order stands as modified.
