What changed

The Court of Appeals of Georgia granted a motion to remand in a criminal appeal, ordering the case back to the trial court for completion of the record with exhibits properly admitted at a prior hearing. Upon completion, the Fulton County Superior Court Clerk must transmit the entire record to the appellate court for re-docketing.

This is a routine procedural order that does not address the merits of the appeal. The case will return to the appellate court once the trial court completes the record. Parties and legal professionals should monitor for re-docketing and any further proceedings.

What to do next

  1. Monitor for updates after trial court completes the record
