Terry Cameron v. State - Remanded
Summary
The Court of Appeals of Georgia granted Appellant's motion to remand in Cameron v. State (Docket A26A1365), ordering the case back to Fulton County Superior Court for completion of the record. The trial court must complete the record with exhibits properly admitted at the October 4, 2022 hearing before the case is returned for re-docketing.
What changed
The Court of Appeals of Georgia granted a motion to remand in a criminal appeal, ordering the case back to the trial court for completion of the record with exhibits properly admitted at a prior hearing. Upon completion, the Fulton County Superior Court Clerk must transmit the entire record to the appellate court for re-docketing.
This is a routine procedural order that does not address the merits of the appeal. The case will return to the appellate court once the trial court completes the record. Parties and legal professionals should monitor for re-docketing and any further proceedings.
