Por petición de una fiscal de la Seccional San Andrés Isla, un juez de control de garantías impuso medida de aseguramiento en centro carcelario a Jalove Jovan Saltarín Watson, alias Care Cortada. El hombre, de 18 años, fue imputado por su presunta responsabilidad en el delito de fabricación, tráfico, porte o tenencia de armas de fuego, accesorios, partes o municiones.
Los hechos investigados se registraron el pasado 22 de abril en un inmueble del barrio Matlina Hill del archipiélago. Durante una diligencia de registro y allanamiento practicada por la Policía Nacional, fue encontrada un arma de fuego, un proveedor y municiones, sin el permiso respectivo.
Por esto el hombre quien estaba en el bien inmueble fue capturado. En el desarrollo de las audiencias concentradas negó su responsabilidad frente al cargo en su contra.
