Los elementos materiales probatorios aportados por una fiscal de la Unidad de Vida permitieron que un juez con funciones de control de garantías impusiera medida de aseguramiento en centro carcelario a un hombre de 30 años, presuntamente implicado en el intento de feminicidio contra su excompañera sentimental.
La decisión judicial obedece a hechos ocurridos el pasado 16 de marzo en el corregimiento de Punta Canoa, jurisdicción de Cartagena (Bolívar). Ese día la víctima, de 27 años, fue ingresada a un centro asistencial con heridas en la espalda y el rostro, causadas con arma cortopunzante.
Al parecer, las agresiones fueron cometidas por el procesado, de quien se afirma además que durante los ocho años de convivencia el hombre habría sometido a la mujer a malos tratos físicos, verbales y psicológicos. En muchos casos los episodios de violencia eran realizados frente a menores de edad.
La captura del procesado fue materializada por servidores del Cuerpo Técnico de Investigación (CTI) el pasado 14 de abril en la capital bolivarense, luego de que se presentara voluntariamente en la Fiscalía General.
El hombre negó su responsabilidad en el delito de tentativa de feminicidio agravado imputado por el ente investigativo.
