Summary
The Texas Court of Appeals, 3rd District, has dismissed the appeal in Pinnacle Property Management Services, LLC d/b/a Cushman & Wakefield U.S., Inc. v. Tina L. West. The dismissal is for want of prosecution due to the appellant's failure to file a required brief by the established deadline.
What changed
The Texas Court of Appeals, 3rd District, has issued a memorandum opinion dismissing the appeal in case number 03-25-00878-CV. The dismissal is for want of prosecution, as the appellant, Pinnacle Property Management Services, LLC d/b/a Cushman & Wakefield U.S., Inc., failed to file its brief by the deadline of February 13, 2026, and did not respond to the court's notice by the March 9, 2026 deadline.
This action means the appeal has been terminated. The appellant has lost the opportunity to have the appellate court review the lower court's decision. There are no further actions required by regulated entities based on this specific dismissal, as it pertains to a procedural failure in an individual case rather than a new regulatory requirement.

Appellant
v.
Tina L. West, Appellee
FROM THE 250TH DISTRICT COURT OF TRAVIS COUNTY
NO. D-1-GN-25-004131, THE HONORABLE CORY LIU, JUDGE PRESIDING
MEMORANDUM OPINION
Appellant’s brief was originally due on February 13, 2026. On February 25, 2026,
this Court sent a notice to appellant informing them that their brief was overdue and that a failure
to file a satisfactory response by March 9, 2026 would result in the dismissal of this appeal for
want of prosecution. To date, appellant has not filed a brief or a motion for extension of time.
Accordingly, we dismiss this appeal for want of prosecution. See Tex. R. App. P. 42.3(b).
