Summary

The CPSC announced the recall of approximately 3,000 KMUYSL Big Red Barn Farm Animal Playsets sold on Amazon from July 2023 through June 2025 for about $20. The recalled children's toys violate the small parts ban because they are intended for children under three years of age and the fence handles can detach, posing a deadly choking hazard. No injuries have been reported. The remedy is a full refund, with consumers required to dispose of fence handles and submit a photo to the recalling firm.

“Consumers should stop using the recalled toys immediately, take them away from children and contact MISSJUNE for a full refund.”

About this source

The Consumer Product Safety Commission publishes recalls of consumer products that pose substantial risk of injury or death. This feed tracks every recall as it is announced: children's products, household appliances, furniture, power tools, batteries, electronics, personal care items, and the steady stream of imported products found to violate US safety standards. Around 60 recalls a month. Each announcement includes the product description, hazard, units affected, injuries reported, and consumer instructions (return, repair, or refund). Watch this if you import or distribute consumer products, run a retail compliance program, advise plaintiffs' counsel on product liability, or manage supply-chain recall exposure.

What changed

The recall involves KMUYSL Big Red Barn Farm Animal Playsets manufactured in China and sold by Shenzhen Leye E-commerce Co., Ltd. (dba MISSJUNE) on Amazon. The fence handles detach from the toys, which are intended for children under three, violating the federal small parts ban. Approximately 3,000 units were sold for about $20 each. Retailers and importers of children's toys should review their current inventory for model number SY-MZ7S-TVMV and ensure compliance with small parts regulations for age-appropriate toys. Consumers who purchased these products should immediately cease use and contact the recalling firm for a refund.

What to do next

  2. Take the recalled toys away from children
  3. Contact MISSJUNE for a full refund
  4. Remove and properly dispose of the fence handles into the trash
  5. Send a photo of the disposed product to kmuyslfarmanimalrecall@gmail.com to receive a full refund
