The Gibraltar Financial Services Commission (GFSC) is pleased to announce the re-appointment of Stephen Haddrill as Chairman of its Board.

Stephen joined the GFSC Board as Chairman on 1 August 2020 and through his visionary leadership has spearheaded the transformation of the GFSC’s operational efficiency, the strengthening of its international and domestic partnerships and fostered a more collaborative approach across the organisation.

The Minister for Justice, Trade and Industry, Nigel Feetham KC MP said: “I welcome Stephen’s decision to continue as Chairman and I am confident that, under his leadership, the GFSC will continue to deliver impactful initiatives that advance the industry and enhance Gibraltar’s standing as a leading international financial services centre.”

Speaking on his re-appointment, Stephen said: “I am delighted to continue serving as Chairman and witnessing first-hand the positive impact our work is achieving, seeing our initiatives drive real and meaningful change across the organisation to support growth in Gibraltar’s financial services industry.

“I would like to thank my fellow Board members for their continued support, insight, and constructive challenge and management and staff for their commitment to being the best that we can be. All of which have been instrumental in shaping the Commission’s direction.”
