Access Board Performance Review Board Appointments
Summary
The Access Board has issued a notice announcing the appointment of members to its Senior Executive Service (SES) performance review board. These members, drawn from other federal agencies due to the Access Board's small size, will evaluate senior executive performance.
What changed
The Architectural and Transportation Barriers Compliance Board (Access Board) has published a notice detailing the appointment of members to its Senior Executive Service (SES) performance review board. This action fulfills the requirement under 5 U.S.C. ยง 4314(c) for agencies to establish such boards to review and evaluate SES performance appraisals. Due to its size, the Access Board has appointed SES career members from other federal agencies, including representatives from the U.S. Department of Transportation, the Administration for Community Living (HHS), and the Department of Labor.
This notice is primarily administrative and informational for other federal agencies and legal professionals involved in government administration. There are no direct compliance obligations or deadlines for regulated entities. The primary implication is for the Access Board's internal HR and executive management processes. For compliance officers, this serves as an example of how federal agencies manage SES performance reviews, particularly those with smaller staff sizes, by leveraging external expertise.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:
Section 4314 (c) of Title 5, U.S.C., requires each agency to establish, in accordance with regulations, one or more Senior

- Juli Huynh, Director of Policy, Office of the Secretary, U.S. Department of Transportation;
- Richard Nicholls, Senior Advisor to the Administrator/Chief of Staff, Administration for Community Living, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services;
- Jennifer Sheehy, Deputy Assistant Secretary, Office of Disability Employment Policy, U.S. Department of Labor. Dated: December 1, 2025. Christopher Kuczynski, General Counsel. [FR Doc. 2025-21836 Filed 12-2-25; 8:45 am] BILLING CODE 8150-01-P ### Download File
