Scope of Work:
Description:
The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) intends to issue a solicitation for Water Treatment Consultation at New Jersey VA Healthcare System, East Orange and Lyons Campuses. Contractor is to meet with chemical Contractor and on-site personnel monthly. Review all water treatment reports and correspondence as they are submitted. Prepare program logs. Prepare a monthly treatment program review. Perform additional chemical testing as needed. Inspect water treatment equipment. Assist with the annual review and goal setting. Discuss water related problems and questions as needed and make recommendations to correct deficiencies.
Qualifications for Contractor representative:
BS Degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering
Minimum of ten years of water treatment consulting experience is preferred
Minimum of five years consulting for VA Medical Centers is preferred
Frequency: Monthly. Invoices are billed monthly.
Set-Aside Status: This procurement is a 100% set-aside for Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses (SDVOSBs), therefore Limitations on Sub-Contracting applies
