Description
RBWM is a non-stock holding Council and therefore need to procure temporary accommodation to meet homelessness. With a very limited Council's owned accommodation and a need to fulfil its statutory duty, RBWM seek to create the open framework
for provision of temporary accommodation by appointing a number of suitable Providers (Housing Companies, Lettings Agents or other capable organisations) who can offer a wide range of suitable properties which can be used for temporary accommodation
placements by RBWM as/when required.

and describe how the Procurement will be conducted, including details of the associated Procurement timetable, award criteria and how to respond to this opportunity. This procurement will be conducted under Open procedure, using Light Touch Regime. The max duration of the Open Framework will be 8 years and the Framework will be reopen in line with the Procurement Act 23. This procurement is for the Open Framework. Open frameworks will be "reopened" (i.e. one framework in the scheme expires as the next one commences) periodically throughout the term to allow new suppliers to tender for a place on the framework.
The first reopening will be after 3 years from the award of the first framework (or earlier subject to the Authority's discretion).
and the second reopening will happen within a period of 5 years beginning on the award of the second framework in the scheme.
