Privacy Act of 1974; System of Records Amendment
The Selective Service System is amending its Privacy Act System of Records Notices to include two mandatory routine uses for facilitating information sharing in response to data breaches, as required by OMB Memorandum M-17-12. These changes are effective upon publication, with the new routine uses taking effect on September 30, 2025.
