USDA Proposes Biobased Product Designations for Federal Procurement

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) is proposing to amend its Guidelines for Designating Biobased Products for Federal Procurement. This proposed rule would add nine new product categories, including various cleaners and lubricants, and establish minimum biobased content requirements for these items to be eligible for federal procurement preference.
