NCPC Proposed Rule on Privacy Act and E-Government Act Regulations

The National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC) has proposed new regulations to implement the Privacy Act and the privacy provisions of the E-Government Act of 2002. These proposed rules update existing regulations from 1977 to reflect current legal requirements for maintaining and safeguarding personal information.

NCPC Adopts New NEPA Regulations, Rescinds Old Rules

The National Capital Planning Commission (NCPC) has rescinded its 2004 Environmental and Historic Preservation Policies and Procedures and adopted new regulations for implementing the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). The new rules streamline the process and eliminate duplicative Section 106 procedures, clarifying roles for federal and non-federal applicants.
