Liverpool Waste Investigation: Second Arrest, HGV and Excavator Seized

Environment Agency Secures £430k After Pollution Incidents
The Environment Agency has secured £430,000 from Imerys Minerals Limited for the West Country Rivers Trust following six clay pollution incidents between September 2021 and July 2023. Imerys will also pay £22,600 in investigation costs and has implemented measures to prevent future pollution.
Chippenham Farm Fined for Slurry Pollution
The Environment Agency has fined JD Spencer Farm Partnership £18,744 for two slurry pollution incidents that impacted the Bristol Avon river. The farm pleaded guilty to four offences related to illegal water discharge and failure to plan slurry spreading.
