Procurement List Deletions by Committee for Blind or Disabled

Email

Summary

The Committee for Purchase From People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled is deleting specific products and services from the Procurement List. These items were previously supplied by nonprofit agencies employing individuals with disabilities.

What changed

The Committee for Purchase From People Who Are Blind or Severely Disabled has finalized the deletion of certain products (Hot Roll Mix, Sweet Roll Mix, Poppy Seed, Folding Chairs) and services (Records Management for the U.S. Air Force) from the Federal Procurement List. These items were previously supplied by designated nonprofit agencies employing individuals who are blind or have severe disabilities, under the authority of the Javits-Wagner-O'Day Act. The deletions are effective April 4, 2026.

This action is administrative and does not impose new compliance requirements on small entities; in fact, it may authorize small entities to furnish these products and services. Regulated entities, specifically government agencies, should note these changes to their procurement lists and ensure compliance with updated sourcing requirements. No specific compliance deadline is mentioned beyond the effective date of the deletions.
