SUMMARY:

The Antitrust Modernization Commission will hold a public meeting on November 14, 2006. The purpose of the meeting is for
the Antitrust Modernization Commission to deliberate on possible recommendations regarding the antitrust laws to Congress
and the President.

November 14, 2006, 9:30 a.m. to approximately 4 p.m. Advanced registration is required.

SUPPLEMENTARY INFORMATION:

The purpose of this meeting is for the Antitrust Modernization Commission to deliberate on its report and/or

  recommendations to Congress and the President regarding the antitrust laws. Deliberation will cover potential recommendations
  relating to the role of State attorneys general in merger enforcement, the application of antitrust in regulated industries,
  and the Foreign Trade Antitrust Improvements Act (“FTAIA”). The Commission may conduct additional business as necessary. Materials
  relating to the meeting will be made available on the Commission's Web site (*www.amc.gov*) in advance of the meeting.

The AMC has called this meeting pursuant to its authorizing statute and the Federal Advisory Committee Act. Antitrust Modernization
Commission Act of 2002, Public Law 107-273, section 11054(f), 116 Stat. 1758, 1857; Federal Advisory Committee Act, 5 U.S.C.
App., section 10(a)(2); 41 CFR 102-3.150 (2005).
