Summary

The Department of Commerce's Technology Administration has published a notice regarding the renewal of the charter for the President's National Medal of Technology Nomination Evaluation Committee. This notice announces the continuation of the committee's operations.

What changed

This notice from the Department of Commerce's Technology Administration formally announces the renewal of the charter for the President's National Medal of Technology Nomination Evaluation Committee. The document, published in the Federal Register on May 11, 2006, serves as an official notification of the committee's continued existence and operational status.

As this is a procedural notice regarding the renewal of an existing committee's charter, there are no immediate compliance actions required for regulated entities. The primary implication is for the committee itself and the Department of Commerce, ensuring the continuation of the process for evaluating nominations for the National Medal of Technology. No new obligations or penalties are introduced by this notice.
