Now is the time for Texans to prepare for win ter weather – bef ore frigid te m pera tures spread across the sta te. “ Small changes at your h om e or business can m ake a big impact on your e lectric and water bills, ” PUCT Executive Director Connie Corona said. “I t’s importan t to prepare ahead of the cold wint e r months, especially ensuring you are e nrolled in the electric ity plan that is right for y o ur home and family. Ways to Save put s Texans in the driver ’s seat to saving mo ney on utilit ies with quick, easy access to the tool s and information they need to make s mart usage deci sions.” The PUCT’s W ays to S ave page include s tips on how consu mers can prepare thei r home or business fo r cold weathe r and reduce ener gy and water use to save money on utility bi lls.
