Basel Committee: Governors welcome Basel III progress, discuss cryptoassets and G-SIBs

The Group of Central Bank Governors and Heads of Supervision (GHOS) met on March 9, 2026, to review progress on Basel III implementation, with approximately 75% of member jurisdictions having implemented or planning to implement the standards. Security Council Removes Syria Officials from ISIL/Al-Qaida Sanctions List
