Municipal and government services, namely, animal control services, namely, capturing and trapping of stray, abandoned, and/or dangerous animals, including but not limited to dogs, cats, and other domestic animals within the corporate limits of the City; Municipal services, namely, promoting the City of Auburn, Alabama as a tourist attraction for the purpose of and enhancing its economic development; municipal services, namely, promoting businesses, the community, tourism, recreation, concerts, tours, events, cultural activities, historic tourism, municipal interests in the nature of trade and civic interests in the nature of trade of the City of Auburn, Alabama; Chamber of commerce services, namely, promoting residential and commercial growth, economic development, redevelopment, cultural, and historic attractions, and government services in the City of Auburn, Alabama; local government services in the nature of convention and visitor bureau services, namely, promoting tourism, business and conventions in and around the City of Auburn, Alabama; Municipal and government services, namely, fire fighting, police protection services, and civil protection services; municipal and government services, namely, issuing permits for and enforcing building and zoning codes, regulating development within the City of Auburn, Alabama, reviewing standards and practices to assure compliance with planning and zoning laws and regulations in the fields of utilities, residential and commercial building construction, roads and operation of businesses in the City of Auburn, Alabama; Providing municipal services, namely, providing public works in the nature of water treatment services and waste management and recycling; Municipal services in the nature of providing recreational parks, swimming pool facilities, learning centers featuring instruction in the field of art, and libraries; municipal services in the nature of organizing community cultural events; educational services, namely, providing seminars, classes, and workshops in the fields of literacy, recreation, art, dance, theatre, and fitness; organizing and conducting sporting events, namely, baseball, softball, soccer, football, track, volleyball, cheerleading, paddle-ball style sports, kickball, and tennis tournaments; Providing municipal services, namely, providing public works in the nature of public utility services, water distribution services, and garbage collection services; providing information regarding city programs and services in the fields of public utilities and related policies
