Abstract
An implant, of intramedullary implant type, suited for securing a first bone fragment to a second bone fragment following transverse osteotomy, includes: a plate having a planar lateral face shaped to be secured to the second bone fragment, a shank shaped to be inserted into a medullary canal of the first bone fragment, and an intermediate portion, connecting the plate to the shank, the implant being characterized in that the shank is a solid of revolution centred on a longitudinal axis, the longitudinal axis being parallel to the lateral face of the plate.
