Abstract

Devices and methods for restricting the flow of blood through tissue of a human face, such as for the treatment of epistaxis, which include an insertion body configured for insertion into a human mouth; an external body configured for placement against an outer surface of the human mouth; and a structure configured to reversibly position the insertion body and external body towards and away from one another.
