Abstract
The present invention relates to an implant, a system, and a manufacturing process for veterinary orthopedic surgery for restoring the volume and/or geometry of a bone by expanding at least two faces of the implant, each comprising a flange, the bringing together of the distal (12) and proximal (11) ends causing the support arms to pivot, causing the flanges to move away from each other and, consequently, the implant to expand, characterized in that an expansion sleeve or ring (20) and the proximal end of a central axis (3) of said implant can be moved away from each other to exert traction on the flanges, via expansion arms, which causes the support arms to pivot, resulting in controlled expansion of the implant (1) between said folded configuration and said deployed configuration.
