Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining, by a processing system including at least one processor, data indicative of objects included in a specified geographical area, and performing, by the processing system, ray tracing using the data to obtain an indication of an impact of diffraction caused by the objects on network coverage, interference, signal strength, or any combination thereof.
