Abstract
The problem to be solved by the present invention is to provide a filler that can be used to fabricate a dental composition with stable paste properties even after long-term storage, and to provide the dental composition. A dental composition including an (A) polymerizable monomer, a (B) polymerization initiator, and a (C) filler, characterized in that the (C) filler includes a (c2-1) filler having an average primary particle size of greater than 100 nm, surface-treated with a silane coupling agent, andwhen the (c2-1) filler having an average primary particle size of greater than 100 nm, surface-treated with a silane coupling agent, undergoes a thermogravimetric analysis under conditions of a heating rate of 10° C./min from 30° C. to 550° C. in a nitrogen atmosphere, a weight loss rate at 250° C. is 50% or less of a weight loss rate at 550° C.
