DUPLICATE TRANSMISSION METHOD USING MULTIPATH

Abstract

One disclosure of the present disclosure provides a method by which a remote UE performs communication. The method comprises: receiving, from a first AMF, an establishment request message of a first PDU session for a relay UE; establishing an N4 session for the first PDU session with a first UPF; receiving a remote UE report including ULI information of the relay UE from the first AMF; receiving, from a second AMF, an establishment request message of an MA PDU session for the remote UE, wherein the establishment request message of the MA PDU session includes ULI information of the remote UE; establishing an N4 session for the MA PDU session with a second UPF; and determining whether to apply duplicate transmission through the MA PDU session on the basis of the ULI information of the relay UE and the ULI information of the remote UE.
