Abstract

An information processing apparatus includes a control unit that, when connection of a charger to an electricity storage body has been detected, transmits predetermined information to first external equipment communicably connected to the charger among one or more pieces of external equipment operating in a supply area of electric power in which the electricity storage body is located, after receiving charging based on the predetermined information from the charger, stores charging information during the charging received, the charging information being transmitted from the first external equipment, and transmits request information created using the stored charging information to the first external equipment or second external equipment among the one or more pieces of external equipment.
