Abstract

An individually packaged absorbent article, for which an absorbent article is individually packaged by a packaging sheet made of paper, wherein the packaging sheet is inwardly folded in a longitudinal direction with the absorbent article disposed inside the packaging sheet, and both edge portions in a transverse direction orthogonal to the longitudinal direction are sealed, and the packaging sheet has tensile elongation in the longitudinal direction and tensile elongation in the transverse direction that are 15% or more.
