Abstract
Disclosed are a method and a device for various types of advertising in an ultra-wideband wireless network system. A method performed by a first device in an ultra-wideband (UWB) wireless network system, according to one embodiment of the present disclosure, may comprise the steps of: generating an advertising poll frame including a frame identifier field; and transmitting the advertising poll frame to one or more second devices. Here, on the basis that the frame identifier field is set to a value indicating a public advertising poll frame, the advertising poll frame may include an advertiser address field, a message control field, and a message content field. Here, the message control field may be defined to indicate one of a plurality of values corresponding to a plurality of message content formats predefined for the configuration of the message content field.
