Abstract
A stent comprising: an elongated tubular member comprising at least one knitted filament having a plurality of loops, each of the loops generally taking the form of a twisted knit stitch, each of the loops being twisted, with intermediate rung portions extending between adjacent twisted knit stitches, the elongated tubular member configured to move between a collapsed configuration and an expanded configuration; and one or more anti-migration features formed in one or more of the intermediate rung portions, wherein the one or more anti-migration features each includes point bends formed near or at an intersection of the anti-migration features with adjacent loops when the stent is in the expanded configuration; wherein the point bends are formed between a first arm of the filament and a second arm of the filament; wherein when the stent is in the expanded configuration, the one or more anti-migration features extend at a non-parallel angle relative to a longitudinal axis of the stent.
