Abstract

An apparatus and method for transmitting power from a primary node (102) to one or more secondary nodes (104A, 104B) of a wireless network (100) includes, for each of the one or more secondary nodes (104A, 104B), associating one of a plurality of directional antenna arrays (302A-302E) of the primary node (102) with the secondary node (104A, 224), and transmitting power to the secondary node ( 104A, 140B) utilizing the one of the plurality of directional antenna arrays (302A-302E) associated with the secondary node (104A, 140B).
